The ceremonies will take place in the presence of their family and close friends. It will be in two parts, at the Villa del Balbianenno. A few days back the pre-wedding ceremonies had begun. There was an intimate Haldi ceremony at Ranveer’s apartment in Mumbai, whereas Deepika’s mother organized Nandi Puja at Bengaluru. The bride was seen in a traditional orange outfit, whereas the Groom was in a white kurta pajama.
Ranveer’s stylist Nitasha confirmed on twitter that the pre-wedding functions had begun in Italy, since 12th November. Deepika’s trainer Nam also dressed up for her sangeet, and her stylist shared the photo on the social platform.
Following the example of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Deepveer has also decided to have a wedding in Italy. This place has always been an attraction for weddings and has seen many Hollywood celebs host their weddings. According to the reports, Deepika and Ranveer’s ceremonies will be inside a special and private dwelling which overlooks the villa’s breathtaking landscapes and garden.
We all know that Ranveer always does something which is out of the box. If the reports are to believed, he will be coming on a seaplane with the Baarat accompanying on various Yachts. Being born and brought up in South India, Deepika will be following ceremonies in two religious aspects. She will be flaunting a Sabyasachi sari for a Konkani wedding as per her culture, and a lehenga for the Sindhi wedding rituals.
When it comes to such an amazing destination wedding, how can we forget the cuisine? Along with Punjabi delicacies, there will be South Indian dishes like rice and dosa. Also, arrangements are made for continental foods and finger foods.
Out of massive respect, Deepika and Ranveer personally went and invited Sanjay Leela Bhansali for their wedding. The bride also invited the director who successfully launched her, Farah Khan and her co-actor plus a close friend, Shahrukh Khan, for the wedding.
Being brought up in the Karnataka capital, the bride’s parents – Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone, have decided to have a lavish reception at The Leela in Bengaluru. The reception will be backed by a Grand wedding reception in Mumbai on 28 November for the actor’s industry friends.
