Asia Cup 2018 is here with hardcore cricket action! The United Arab Emirates will. Be hosting the Asia cup this time in between 15th to 30th September. Asia Cup 2018 has Unimoni as a title sponsor. Unimoni deal with money transfer, fore.ign exchange, payment and credit solutions provider. The One Day International (ODI) format will determine the winner with six teams this year. A last-minute addition of Hong Kong, defending champions India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh will be competing for Asia Cup 2018. Asian Cricket Council (ACC) will oversee the entire Asia Cup activities.
The venue was changed from India to UAE due to the conflicts between India and Pakistan. To ensure that Pakistan will participate in the Asia Cup, a request to BCCI and ACC from Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown prince of Abu Dhabi made this change via hosting .this event in the UAE.

UAE has hosted the Asia Cup twice in the past, 1984 and 1995 to be exact. Group A will have Hong. Kong, India and Pakistan while Group B will have Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka compete against each other for the top 4. Hong Kong is a surprise entry this Asia Cup since they won the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. Teams for Asia Cup 2018
Six teams in two groups to compete for the prestigious Asia Cup 2018 will be the format. The first round of matches determines the top 4 who then move on to the Super Four section of the tournament. Winning side from these top 4 will then battle for the Asia Cup 2018. The exciting opening match will be in between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 15th.
